Welcome to Our New Web Site !
Although we are continuing to improve our new EFA web site almost daily, we have opened the gates for use by our Members. We have upgraded our site to be faster and more secure in keeping with 21st Century technology, and as you have obviously signed in successfully, let's give you a quick guided tour.
First, take a look at the top right corner of our web screen where you will see two magnifying glasses. Clicking on these icons will increase or decrease the size of the text depending on your individual preferences. (Hint for Windows users: You can do the same thing by holding down your CTRL key and tapping your + or - sign on your number pad.)
Beside the magnifying glasses is our Account Panel, which can also be found under the Top Tab "Admin/For Members." The Account Panel will take you to your personal account where you can:

Media is a new item and will become the repository for all photos, movies, sound tracks, or other media we decide to keep. Feel free to offer additions!

This is where you can change your password and/or edit or delete your "Real Name" and "email address". Don't forget to hit the green check mark at the bottom of the page to preserve the update. If you make a mistake, don't worry; just contact the webmaster (Barb) and she can fix it right up.

If you want to change how the site looks, we now offer four different views or "Themes." Preview any of the various selections and then select the one you like best as your default. All "Themes" will work with our EFA content. (And remember, you can still resize your text under any "Theme" choice !!)
Top Tabs
The Tabs you will note on the top of our web screen will be the new way to access all articles and information on our site. You should be able to find everything in our site through these tabs. For example, start by clicking on either the "Website" or "Archives" tab. Placing your mouse pointer over either of these Tabs will reveal a list of further choices which will apply to this heading in a drop-down menu, but these topical listings may continue to change from time to time until we get a better feel for where everything should be placed. Make sure you take a good look at all of the Tabs and their subsection lists; some of the drop-down menus even have subsections inside of them!! Most Tabs are self explanatory, however, so feel free to investigate whatever you like.
The Web Site/Chat Room is a new addition. This Web Site Tab and drop-down menu item "Chat Room" will take you immediately to the EFA Chat Room with no additional sign-in required. The Chat Room will be used for meetings for our Association from time to time; we hope this new feature will make it easier for our Members to join in the discussions. Next time you receive an email or newsletter notice regarding a meeting, please make sure to join in the fun!
Please Note: although all listings in every theme will eventually be the same, the most current example of our complete set up is under the Theme, "Pluralism." Once we have added/edited this theme view to our mutual satisfaction, all Tabs will then become standardized on ALLTheme sites.
